Owner's Message

Welcome to Stepping Stone Preschool! I am thrilled to welcome you to our family. Our preschool is a place where children begin their educational journey in a warm and supportive environment. We are committed to providing a strong foundation for every child. We intentionally keep our teacher to child ratio low so that we can adapt our program’s goals to each child’s unique strengths and needs. We prepare curriculum for future academic success while also instilling in them the values of kindness, compassion and faith.

Stepping Stone was opened in September of 1998 with a desire to create a school dedicated to academic achievement in a small classroom setting that encourages a lifelong love of learning.

Mission

Our goal at Stepping Stone Preschool is to encourage children in their development of school readiness skills. We provide a loving and nurturing educational environment with an emphasis on Christian values. In our program your child will grow socially, cognitively and morally.

We have a very strong academic curriculum focusing on letters, sounds, numbers, shapes and colors. In addition… we strive for independence with daily tasks, such as opening lunch boxes, clothing skills, stacking, threading, and arts and crafts, all of which contribute to fine motor skills.

We are confident that every day will bring your child a new adventure in fun while we focus on ensuring each child will be prepared to start Kindergarten with confidence!
